This role offers a unique blend of on-the-road engagement and in-office responsibilities, providing you with a versatile and dynamic work environment
As an External Sales & Marketing Manager, you will:
- Identify and develop business from new and existing customers and present products and services to the company’s clients.
- Will be liaising between your branch and customers to address any customer needs, and concerns and to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, marketing, and conversion tools.
- Be responsible for ensuring your achievement of set sales targets, KPIs, total customer satisfaction, and growing brand awareness in the Australian Markets.
- Being an integral part of the management team, you will propose solutions to further grow and upsell products, while working closely with builders, architects, and retail customers.
- Your experience in technical sales and direct-to-market selling will be instrumental in facilitating a full-concept solution offering for your customers and enhancing the company’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Essential skills needed:
- A valid qualification in Marketing and / or Business.
- 5+ years commercial extensive commercial Flooring, Selections and Sales experience directly promoting products to Architects, Commercial Contractors, Builders, and retail environments.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Manager within the Flooring industry.
- Expertise knowledge of current flooring requirements including reading, interpreting measuring, and costing technical drawings and building plans.
- Maintain a current Australian Drivers Licence.Â

- Ability to develop and implement task-specific projects to grow and enhance the store service and product offering.
- Ability to readily establish rapport with key stakeholders, clients, and colleagues.
- Confidently and competently present your ideas to your peers, and represent your division with honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm.

Additional Information:
Valid Qualification means:  a skill level commensurate with a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification and 3+ years relevant experience and /or on the job training. Or 5+ years relevant experience to substitute for the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
