Terms and Conditions

Joii Limited | Fundraising & Donations –

1. General

Welcome to the Joii Limited fundraising website.

This website is operated by Joii Limited (ABN 55 621 826 051), an Australian not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to creating opportunities through employment, training and community-based social impact initiatives.

By accessing this website or making a donation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. Purpose of Fundraising

Donations received through this website support Joii’s charitable and social impact activities, including initiatives such as:

  • The Second Chance Program.

  • The Your Chance Program.

  • Employment, training and mentoring opportunities.

  • Community development and social inclusion initiatives.

  • Approved fundraising campaigns, including Project Oasis.

Funds raised for a specific campaign will be applied toward that campaign’s stated objectives, subject to any conditions disclosed at the time of donation.

Where a campaign cannot proceed as originally intended, Joii will communicate any material changes and manage affected donations consistently with donor commitments and applicable legal obligations.

3. Making a Donation

Donations are voluntary.

By making a donation, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method.

  • The information provided is accurate.

  • You understand the amount and frequency of the donation selected.

  • You are making the donation voluntarily.

Donations can be made using the payment methods displayed on the website.

4. Payment Processing

Online donations are facilitated through the Raisely fundraising platform and processed by an authorised payment provider, such as Stripe or PayPal.

Additional transaction processing or platform charges may apply, as disclosed during checkout.

Any optional contribution toward platform costs will be clearly identified before payment confirmation.

Joii does not directly store full credit card details through Raisely.

5. Recurring Donations

Where recurring donations are available, donors may select an ongoing contribution at the frequency displayed during the donation process.

Recurring donations will continue until cancelled or otherwise terminated.

Donors may request changes or cancellation through the available donor management facilities or by contacting Joii.

Cancellation will prevent future scheduled payments once processed, but will not automatically refund payments already completed.

6. Donation Refunds

Joii appreciates every contribution received.

If you have made a donation in error, experienced a duplicate transaction, or believe a payment was unauthorised, please contact hello@joii.org as soon as possible.

Refund requests will be assessed individually, considering the circumstances of the transaction, the applicable law and any relevant payment provider requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies available under Australian law.

7. Tax Deductibility

The tax deductibility of a donation depends on whether the receiving organisation or relevant fund is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and whether the particular contribution satisfies applicable Australian taxation requirements.

Donors should not assume that a contribution is tax deductible unless this is expressly confirmed by Joii for the relevant fundraising campaign.

Donation confirmations or receipts will be issued where applicable.

8. Use and Allocation of Donations

Joii is committed to responsible financial management, accountability and transparency.

Donations will be used to advance Joii’s stated charitable and social impact objectives, including applicable program delivery and administration costs.

Where donations are directed toward a particular project, their use will be guided by the purpose and conditions communicated for that campaign.

9. Fundraising Content and Project Information

Information, illustrations, project concepts, architectural images and proposed outcomes displayed on this website are provided for general information and fundraising purposes.

Certain projects, including Project Oasis, may involve preliminary designs, illustrative imagery or concepts subject to change.

Project specifications, timelines, designs and final outcomes may be subject to funding, approvals, practical requirements and other factors.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, conceptual imagery should not be interpreted as a representation of a completed or approved project.

10. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content, branding, images, graphics and other materials displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Joii Limited.

Content must not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Changes to These Terms
